It’s reportedly all over for Kaia Gerber, 23, and Austin Butler, 33. TMZ reports that the Elvis star and the stunning model have ended their three-year relationship.
The couple apparently decided to part ways towards the end of 2024, with a source revealing that their relationship “ran its course” with no hard feelings between them.
“The relationship just simply ran its course after a good three years together,” the insider said.

This news may not surprise some fans who had speculated that their relationship might be in trouble after Kaia was spotted on holiday in Mexico with her famous family – and noticeably absent was Butler. Instead, Kaia enjoyed the sun with her brother, Presley Gerber, his girlfriend, Isabella Jones, and her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.

Austin and Kaia were first linked romantically back in December 2021 when Austin was seen chatting with the model’s parents at a fashion show she walked in. The rumors continued to fuel after they were seen together at W magazine’s pre-Oscars party in March 2022.
However, it wasn’t until May 2022 that they made their red carpet debut as a couple, arriving together at the Met Gala in New York City. In 2023, there was even talk of an engagement when Austin helped Kaia move into a new home, although it was unclear if they were living together.
The rumors continued to heat up when the gossip blog Deuxmoi claimed that Austin had proposed to Kaia in April of that year. However, a source close to the couple quickly quashed these rumors by confirming that the pair were not engaged.
