According to Oriental medicine, the foot is the second heart of the human body, an important part because all the acupuncture points on the foot affect other organs with countless nerve endings connected to the brain.
All the blood circulating in the body passes through the network of blood vessels in the feet. Protecting the feet is protecting the health of the body.
According to Western medicine, the foot is the part that supports the weight of the entire body when a person is active. The foot contains 1/4 of the body’s bones. Each foot has 33 joints, 100 tendons, muscles, and ligaments, and countless nerves and blood vessels that are connected in all directions to the heart, spine, and brain.
Therefore, feet also play a certain role in overall health. Keeping feet healthy is essential.
However, feet are often not properly cared for. There are many ways to care for your feet, but foot soaking is considered the simplest and most effective method, especially soaking your feet in vinegar.
Vinegar is rich in acids and anti-fungal compounds that help regulate the pH of the skin, thereby helping to overcome problems that your feet encounter.

1. Toenail fungus
Step 1: Pour 1 cup (240ml) of distilled white vinegar into a bowl.
Step 2: Add 2 cups of water to the basin. If the basin is not full yet, add vinegar and water in a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water.
Step 3: Soak your feet in a bowl of vinegar for 15 minutes every day. This will help eliminate toenail fungus.
2. Dry, rough feet
Step 1: Pour 1 cup of distilled white vinegar into a bowl.
Step 2: Add 7.5 liters of warm water to the basin.
Step 3: Soak your feet in the basin for about 45 minutes. This will help remove hard and dead skin on the surface of your feet.
Step 4: Use a pumice stone or brush to scrub your feet. This will exfoliate and soften your feet.

3. Warts
Step 1: Pour 1 cup of distilled white vinegar into a bowl.
Step 2: Add warm water to the basin until the wart area on your foot is submerged in the water.
Step 3: Soak feet for 20 minutes.
Step 4: Continue soaking your feet in the vinegar and water solution until the wart disappears.
4. Athlete’s foot
Step 1: Pour 5 cups of apple cider vinegar into a bowl
Step 2: Add 5 cups of water to the basin. If the basin is not full yet, add vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio.
Step 3: Soak your feet for 10 minutes every day. Continue soaking for 10 days or until symptoms disappear.
Note:
– You should apply a little lotion after soaking your feet to remove the vinegar smell on your feet.
– Diabetics should not use this foot soaking method and should consult a doctor if they have foot problems.
– As a cheap ingredient and a treatment for many foot diseases, vinegar also helps you feel relaxed and sleep better after a hard day’s work by soaking your feet every day.
